WBYC 2017 Cruises

Last updated: Saturday, August 26, 2017 10:36 PM

"There is nothing -- absolutely nothing -- half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats."

Ratty and Mole, "Wind in Willows"

In or out of 'em, it doesn't matter. Nothing seems really to matter, that's the charm of it. Whether you get away, or whether you don't; whether you arrive at your destination or whether you reach somewhere else, or whether you never get anywhere at all, you're always busy, and you never do anything in particular; and when you've done it there's always something else to do, and you can do it if you like, but you'd much better not."
Spoken by Ratty to Mole in Wind in the Willows a children's book by Kenneth Grahame (1859-1932). Note: Published 100 years ago, 1908.

Rhode Island cruise (Below) could be joined directly after this cruise

The Cruise committee is looking for input into a possible cruise to Rhode Island mid-September.

Please let John Eldert (jeldert@berklee.edu) know if you are interested and what places with dates would be of interest to you.

The Elderts are planning on being in Rhode Island around mid-September and we may be able to coordinate a group cruise to for example: Cutty Hunk, places in Sakonnet River, Narragansett Bay, Newport, or Block Island.

We will be sending out details about a week or two before the events.

Informal Cruises:

If you have planned a cruise and wouldn't mind company, post your itinerary on the bulletin board at the Club. And check the bulletin board for possible cruise opportunities with fellow WBYC members.
